Angband is a dungeon-crawling roguelike computer game derived from Umoria. It is based on the writings of J. Tolkien, in which Angband is the fortress of Morgoth. The current version of Angband is available for all major operating systems, including Unix, Windows, Mac OS X, and Android.
- In Dredmor, you can see your character pop the top off a vial and glug it down. It's this visual aspect that makes Dredmor probably the most immediately accessible roguelike for the Mac.
- Currently I have no way to know if my machine is being remotely viewed by our tech support, and would prefer to know, given the massive privacy breach that would entail should this be happening. I am running Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Ps -A grep Remote I know this service is running.
